We’ve made it to the point where the “light at the end of the tunnel” seems to grow brighter and brighter! Please hold tight to this knowledge as we work our way through the phase of your adoption journey that will likely require you to reach inside your reserves for patience.
Below I have information to help you better understand each step of the referral phase in addition to the links and other resources needed.
*I am in the process of updating all “Referral” related guides and templates,
to reflect more accurate timelines and to include the CCCWA’s new process for matching in with a “Non-Special Focus Referral” (these are considered healthy - mild special needs referrals). This new process is commonly called the “Log-In Date” process.

Our staff is eagerly working on demonstration videos to provide you with more detailed information, combined with actual examples. We hope these new visual instruction pieces will be beneficial to you all - so, check back regularly!
